Tamarrud (rebel yourself in Arabic), Egypt's most famous protest movement , the one that sparked the 30 June huge demonstrations that ultimately ousted Mohammed Morsi, has inspired several copycats in brethren countries. Which ones? The ones who already went through their (successful or not) "Arab Springs".

And what's the most important news? The Government has announced they will eliminate a paragraph in Article 475 that currently allows those convicted of corruption or kidnapping of a minor to go free if they marry their victim, a provision everyone throughout the world discussed about last year after a 16 year-old teenager killed herself out of desperation being confronted with a forceful marriage with the man that raped her.

This week, a new Friends of Syria meeting is scheduled to take place in Morocco, a country that has been hailed as a model for other Arab countries. Is that assessment correct?
